Ones I disagree with or should be Bolded:

Colombia: bold Falcao
Uruguay: bold Suarez
Germany: coin flip for Lahm or Bastian
Switzerland: Inler

Japan: bold Kagawa
Mexico: Graham Zusi
USA: my boy Landycakes (he will always be my favorite and best America player until he retires)

Italy: bold Pirlo (did the article writers sleep through the last decade of international tournaments?)

Ivory Coast: bold Yaya Toure

I don't know enough about some of the shittier teams.

Vela might be, though his absence during this prolonged down stretch has increased his lore to the point everyone thinks he's the best Mexican player.

Yeah, I think he's arguably their best. I was laughing because he the only one on the list that actually doesn't play.

About the list in general, it seems pretty bad aside from the absolutely obvious.

Of the teams I watch enough to have an opinion, I disagree with almost every one.

Balotelli for Italy is just crazy. Maybe because he played in England.

No way man, he's 34 and is having a killer season at Everton so far this year. He's always solid for the NT anyway. His experience of already playing in a WC will also be big, imho.

The UK? They´d gain Bale and Wilshire.

In the past, Georgey Best alone, wouldn´t have won them anything.

Seriously, I´m in agreement with all you´ve said, especially the leadership part. I don´t think he´s better than the big guy Friedel, or whatever his name is (there are three ÚS keepers in England, aren´t there? I´m thinking it´s either Freidel or Guzán, who´s doing better, and is much bigger, physically).

Friedel is 43 years old and is in his probable last season at Tottenham. Guzan plays for Aston Villa and is having a good year also, but not better than Timmy. Also, Guzan is 6'4, TH 6'3

Then Friedel must be huge. One of these guys looks a lot bigger than Timmy. Bulkier, maybe?

I don´t know, I don´t follow prem matches closely, and I´ve seen Timmy have some meh ones, and logically thought he´s losing his capacity, from a reflex standpoint. I believe I even saw a pretty clamorous faux pax on a corner. That said, and as I said earlier in another post, I may be wrong.

He is a leader, he´s fiery, and God, I miss a healthy and fast (well, as fast as he could be in a pristine state) Gooch.

Gooch was probably my fave on the US squad.

Anyway, top player for Spain will probably be a striker.

Costa, Llorente or Negredo.

If miracles are possible, it could be Puyol.

Dude, you aren't the only one who misses Gooch.
