With rumblings that Bentaleb could have a number change, I'm waiting until numbers are finalized.
I also may go Chadli. I really like him.

I can't decide which kit I like the most. Buy all 3???

All three are gorgeous in my opinion. Purple is pure sex, but as a clash color, it won't look good during viewing parties. White is classic and worn about as much as LSU football wears their whites. I am super high on the aways this year though. Love the color scheme.

I love the purple and it ties to LSU.
The Blue looked bomb at MLS all star game.
But that sash!
Free shipping would be nice. Or if the USD would rally against the pound!

I'm heading to London in a week for work and to see our boys take on Stoke. Will be the first time I put on the Kane home kit.
Very excited for this season, even though this is a building season for 2016-2017. We are going to have some flashes of absolute brilliance in the league.

hey guys, first year following EPL and cant wait for Saturday!
ive chosen the Spurs as my team and cant wait to follow them.
stupid question- can someone explain to a novice their style of play? fast paced?
should i expect lots of goals?
i was stuck on either the Spurs, Arsenal(yes i know), or Chelsea so im confident i made the right decision.

quote:welcome aboard. To save you grief in the future, it's just "Spurs." There is no "the" in front. Not sure why, that just the way it is.
the Spurs
I'm hoping for a lot of goals. Kane should still produce well IMO, but I think we still need to get us another attacking option in the trade window.

Welcome dallastiger, congrats on choosing a club as glorious as Tottenham.
You should expect to see very exciting style of play. We have a young manager who employs a very active and intense pressing game high up the field. This leads to turnovers and quick transition opportunities. This constant aggressive playing on the front foot leads to very exciting games. We are a very youthful team who have legit, hungry academy products on the first team. We have the best keeper in the league. Our weakest area last season was defensively, specifically the center backs and the lack of cover in the defensive midfield. We signed Belgian international Toby Alder-something in the offseason which should address the issue.
COYS!
Saturday can't come fast enough.

A couple of things to help me prepare for tomorrow
How long is a typical game?
How many commercials?
Is there a place to get post and pre game analysis and opinions from a Tottenham perspective?

You trolling bruh?
The actual games last about 2 hours... 2 45 minute halves with a running clock. No commercials till halftime.
R coys is a great place to visit for extra info on Spurs
ETA Welcome aboard

No I'm not trolling, just a causal once every 4 years soccer guy trying to sharpen his memory
I knew about 45 minute halves just trying to get a gauge on how to plan my morning.
Thanks for info. Trust me I have better things to do than troll a Tottenham board in Tiger Droppings!
I'm legitimately excited about starting a new adventure. Give me a few weeks for the learning curve. Like I said I'd rather get the stupid questions out of the way on here vs in front of some die hards at a bar.
Forgive my ignorance

No worries. One of the great things about soccer is that you know that league matches will be done in that 2 hour window. So, kickoff is 6:45am CDT tomorrow, match will be finished by 8:45. And, like was previously said, commercials are only during halftime.

It's all good man... Everyone has to learn sometime. The broadcast will last 3 hours pretty much. After you include the pre and post game analysis (probably closer to 2:45 total). You will fall in love with Tottenham, but be warned that we are known for our short comings. The team has a bad habit of rising our hopes before flushing them down the toilet. It is a roller coaster following this team, but we are headed in the right direction. All those let downs will be that much sweeter when we make the jump into the top 4. Don't get discouraged is all I have to say. Then again, I have an affinity for picking cursed teams

Welcome! Good to have you here. Spurs are a fun squad to cheer for these days for reasons mentioned above.
Total opposite of some other Boring Boring clubs.
We have our hands full tomorrow morning but I'm giddy for it already. COYS!
Also NBCSN has excellent pre amd post match shows so tune in early to catch the discussion and Rebecca of course.
