I said call I didn't say offer the job. Exactly two people interviewed last time and we got Gregg via nepotism.

Just calling him would be a mistake.
That dude ruined Spain.

Any of you MLS fan boys can tell me about Jim Curtin? I hear good things but not familiar with his style/tactics.

Tuchel would only make sense if we hired him in like 2025 because he usually pisses off everyone he works for by year 2 or year 3 of wherever he's at.
Yea but he’s not around the players 24/7 with the national team
So it could work
Flick is staying with Germany so it’s worth a shot.

Did someone mention Pochettino? Thoughts?

German-ness aside, Tuchel just gives me too many Jurgen vibes in that he will always think his way is the only way to do things. I don't think this program needs that.
And just like Jurgen, it's already out in the public that he doesn't get along with the face of our program.

Very non-committal, which I guess can be good

Just got a statement from Earnie Stewart on Gregg Berhalter.
“As we always do after a major tournament, we are taking time to reflect. We will conduct a full review with everyone involved as we determine our next steps."
"We look forward to building off the performance in Qatar and preparing for the journey towards 2026.”

Would Tuchel try to play Pulisic at LWB again, tho?

Bielsa or Martinez would be great hires imo, although I wonder if we have the legs/depth for the insane press of the former
I think so. Most of these guys are humble and hungry. That’s how the average Leeds squad he inherited went to the next level as quick as they did. We’ll also dominate shitty concacaf nations with third man runs and the man marking.

Lot of people will be skeptical about this statement. I hope Earnie proves them wrong.

Hopefully the Gregg talks are for him to continue as an interim.
Get us through the January camp and then ride off into the sunset

January camp should be about the u20's.

We’re going to be stuck with him aren’t we…
