he’s been surprisingly good. always liked him during PL stuff but he’s much better doing color than I would’ve guessed

pretty impressed with the squad as well. certainly look like the belong on the same field as France so far

Is Schulte a better keeper than Slonina? Or is this a better form/shape thing?

Just haven't seen his name come up too much with respect to the USMNT.

That lad with the hair that just missed wide open header should be sent home immediately and have to pay for his own flight.

Damn should have scored there. US actually look pretty damn good, that was horrible goalkeeping however.

this game would be completely different if Djorde hadn’t ripped that shot off the crossbar, but France is clearly a favorite to win the whole thing

US Soccer needs to learn how to crowd the ref after the first foul, seems like every build up is just stopped by a non yellow card tactical foul.

Score line doesn’t do this game justice. USA played France heads up almost the entire game. We hit the posts twice otherwise this game looks entirely different.

Agreed. The third goal may have been a foul. However France overages players beat you. Not horrible. Play the same game two more times and you are through!

Yeah but we don’t believe in Auburn moral victories

That escalated pretty quickly after we went off the bar at 0-0

2 great saves by the French keeper should have been goals, too, but still a hammering.

This team plays with much more offensive creativity than the senior squad.

Only a matter of time before Paxton is called up.

Agreed. Thought our guys played well. And let's be honest we were going up against a squad that had Lacazette, Mateta and Olise in it. It was always going to be a massive ask for a result

I thought Tessman played really well in the midfield

He has potential for sure but his processing speed and lack of urgency when under pressure is noticeable imo. He needs to speed that up on the international stage or he will get caught out.

This has been my biggest complaint about him. Everything about him just seems to be in slow motion, whether it's his decision making or his recovery speed.
