That's actually the one thing you can say that Gyasi does relatively decent. The issue is that he doesn't know how to kick a soccer ball.

Yeeeahhh, I have never been impressed with his movement, decision making, or technicality. It sucks that out of 320 million people, he is one of the best the US has to offer.

He is not the best we have to offer, and therein lies the problem with the current state of the USMNT

Kinda tongue in cheek.
It really starts at the youth level. A lot of clubs have no interest in sending kids to the higher levels, as they lose great players. I've seen it too much. You'd think the clubs/coaches would want to advance their kids more, but the ones that actively place players are pretty rare. The US scouts must be lazy

Yes and no. Tell me which American has more goals in a better league than Gyasi this year. Our pool is a dumpster fire.

I totally agree! The sad state is that we are "forced" to use Zardes so much due to lack of depth and quality. When Altidore is not available, we have no good second choice pure striker.
Now, I have hopes that Sargent will be able to pick up the mantle. That is why I am still pissed about the way Sargent was treated by US soccer this summer. He should have played either with the senior or junior national teams, IMO.

I would say CP will play against Cuba and go 70ish minutes as he has not been playing heavy minutes for Chelsea. He is also listed as a MF in the official roster. Bradley plays against Canada so Trap plays in the 6. Cannon against Cuba and Yedlin against Canada. Roldan against Cuba and Weston against Canada.

Robinson dropped out due to a hamstring injury.
