Asked about decisions on forwards, Berhalter emphasizes the history Pepi/Sargent have had with the squad and his belief Pepi can dominate the Dutch league/his upside.
Greg going full retard. Pepi has to leave the German league for an inferior league to get playing time while Pefok has been producing in the superior German league.

Beaz wouldn’t do that to his vet. Gregg and Agoos took him under their wings in 2002.

I was gonna chime in but this looks like a Pro Gregg setting.......I'll see myself out before getting lectured.

Don't care what Pepi did in qualifying, you take the one that's actually scoring goals. Pepi has been a complete disaster ever since those two games.
Hopefully Gregggg will bring in Pefok for the final squad

We need at least one big target forward just in case the matchup calls for one, IMO. I would have either Pefok or Vasquez or Wright on the plane before Pepi if the decision had to be made today.

Nope, not from me. But there does seems to be a resident referee.

There's a difference between being a Gregg-homer and accepting reality.
Again, Pefok should've been called in.
Gregg was never my first choice as MNT manager, still don't feel confident with him leading us into Qatar, but doesn't mean everything he has done has been bad. Since the COVID break, his influence has been more positive than negative. If accepting that fact, makes me a "Gregg homer" so be it.

Of course Greg would be promoted to a new made up position like chief of strategy or some bull shite.

btw, I couldn't think of a lamer pair of Vets to have than Agoos and Gregg leading you around Korea.

Lalas and Wynalda?
One guy just trolling everyone with dumb pranks and another guy being an unironic Craig Kilborn.

Just heard that Pefok has gotten 10 minutes with the USMNT since last September. Scoring goals with Young Boys and now the Bundesliga, and he still doesn’t get even on the roster, yet Pepi gets another opportunity despite one assist in overseas play. Hard for me to let this one go. Seriously hope there have been back door conversations saying his place is locked.
Also, I’ve never been high on Ream, but captain for a Premier team, and you have Long who’s ho-hum?

Musah out for friendlies now.

Cardoso is said to be the replacement.

Surprising that they are reportedly going with Johnny over Williamson or Djordje.
Also, we need to do whatever voodoo ritual or use deer antler spray on Musah's ankle. If you were to name three people on the entire roster that we absolutely need for the World Cup, he's one of them.

My opinion is that they brought in Johnny as cover for the 6 and GGG uses Acosta as one of the Dual 8's. I could be completely wrong.

That's my worry. He needs to quit thinking Acosta can be a backup 8, his role should be Adams cover, and emergency fill-ins for the midfield and outside backs.
Not that it matters, because if Musah is hurt for the World Cup, we're fricked anyway.
Also, potential good news on the Jedi front. He's already back on the training pitch and Fulham was even holding out slight hope that he could be available for their match with Forest today. He ended up not making the squad, but the ankle injury doesn't seem like it's too serious in terms of the World Cup.
