And no I'm not posting this on the soccer board because that would be weird. I feel dirty every time I accidently click on it.
Everytime I turn on the news some fricktard is throwing flares or fighting. frick those people they scare me.

From what I've seen if English isn't the first language of a country, its soccer fans are fricking nuts.

Yes, because American sports fans never fight...
You will never understand the passion those fans have for that sport. Wrap every American sport including collegiate teams into one and you may come close to their level of fanaticism. It's a great spectacle.

The England fans were the first to get into trouble last week.

For sure, but as a neutral observer it's quite entertaining.
It's just as much a part of their culture as gun violence is of ours.

My life as a football hooligan
quote:
The founder of the Celtic Soccer Crew sets the record straight and his life straight in one gripping memoir. With 33 criminal convictions against him, plus a further 33 cases either dropped or found not guilty, he has been remanded nine times including one charge of attempted murder when he was aged just 18. He became rapidly embroiled in a life of violence and was in and out of prison just as many times as he was in and out of the hospital. His was a life dedicated to football violence in the shape of the Celtic Soccer Crew. O'Kane's memoirs are about the extraordianry struggle of a gang of football hooligans to survive, despite discovering an unexpected enemy: the indomitable Celtic Support - a support that guarded its reputation and good name with a passion O'Kane hadn't reckoned with, even as a Celtic supporter himself. But out on the streets and causing mayhem, the Celtic Soccer Crew (which incredibly included their girlfriends) proved they were not taking shite from anyone. Now revealed for the first time are some of those outrageous antics for which the CSC firm are notorious. Combined with frankness and honesty, they give the reader a real insight into what turns a man into a career hooligan.

I think half of them just have a passion for getting drunk and rowdy and the match is just a convenient excuse.

It's a big sport, NFL used to if not still does have issue with fighting outside the stadiums.
Diff over there is these countries are constantly fighting over who is whiter or there first.
We don't have animosity between the states like they do over there between each other. And in such small areas.

I have no idea what you said, but I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and give you an upvote in case of it being something that I agree with.

They really are pretty trashy. It's funny, as soccer fans in America tend to be the opposite.

Ever been to a Dodgers giants game? Typically ends with a homicide or two

Wrong.
German fans are great. The flare shite is usually eastern european countries, yesterday it was Croatia, who has fans who despise the heads of country's football association and willingly go out of their way to frick the team over.
The one big difference in soccer fans compared to any other sport is that the teams are the ones who are fricked over.
Croatia fans in Euro qualifying burnt a swastika into the field. UEFA (the reigning body over european teams) punished them by docking a point in the qualifying table and making them play, I believe, two games behind closed doors. So two home games in an empty stadium.
