Man I don’t know. I think I heard/read that their worst ever WC finish was 3rd. I wouldn’t be surprised if they finish below that this time. This squad feels very meh.

Missing Pugh(swanson), Macario and Mewes is just too much to overcome. The European teams have gotten much much better these last four years and if you don’t have all your options, it’s an uphill climb

Yeah, Mallory Swanson and Catarina Maccario. That’s the issue, we have to get minutes out of the remnants of players like Rapinoe and Ertz due to injuries

Yeah Lavelle is a big miss in the midfield. I thought she was going to be able to go a full 90 this game, and they were just easing her in against Vietnam, but I guess not.
