Current time in Doha, Qatar is 8:32pm ... you can check that against my posting time stamp to get a better idea of when games will kickoff locally.

I hope you're right, but lets see him get a cap and play a full season as a pro before we pencil him in.
A lot of crazy shite can happen from now until 2022.

Eh not that bad
5 am really isn’t that bad
Especially during the week since I assume must of us are in the office by 7:30
8am is fricking PERFECT in the morning
And then the rest of the games are great
All the TVS will also be on the games and not CNBC or Bloomberg which they always are on

Pretty close to South Africa 2010 then in terms of time difference, right?

Yeah, I think they’re an hour behind Johannesburg. I’m pretty sure Qatar is on the same time as European Russia, though I doubt the kickoff times will be the same so as to avoid playing in the midday sun.

I actually like World Cups better when we have morning games
Not talking Japan/SK Early
But how it was in Russia and SA

Getting morning drunk and watching LD beat Algeria is my favorite sports memory ever.

Making my plans to take off work after Thanksgiving for the remainder of the year. No one does anything in December anyway.

I have a friend in SA and he's on the same time as Central Europe, but SA doesn't observe Daylight Savings Time. So Qatar is an hour ahead of SA according to Dr. Google.
As far as midday kicks go, isn't that why the WC is in November in Qatar, so they have zero restrictions on time due to excessive heat?
