Not sure that's a good landing spot for his development. Feels like a shite ton of unnecessary pressure for an American to go to a club where he will always be held to an impossible standard by not only the Chivas fans but also the staff, just because of the America/Mexico dynamics.
If he was more of a finished product, I'd love that move for him to see if he can hang and handle that, but for a dude that is still so raw, it's going to be tough.
Would've much rather him go to like Belgium, Denmark, Netherlands, etc.

Its going to be interesting how their fans treat him because I definitely remember Chivas rejecting other Mexican/American players because they decided to play for the US youth teams.
