Whether it's one achilles surgically repaired twice or both achilles repaired, I got to imagine it's unprecedented for a soccer player to come back from that and at least match their level of play before the injuries.
I know Mike Soroka and Jake Berger have come back to baseball with one achilles needing two surgeries, but feels like baseball is a completely different animal than soccer in terms of stress on the achilles. And in the case of Soroka, he never got back close to his pre-injury playing level

Aaronson came off the bench and scored the winner for Union Berlin against Hoffenheim

Hate to say I told you so
You had a much different tone a few weeks ago
He’s just not gonna get time over the guys ahead of him

Ok baw. I got one wrong.
If we're keeping score here, you were loud wrong when you said Tyler Adams definitely wouldn't play in Nations League in 2021 and that the USMNT was dumb for calling him up just to check his medicals.
Not to mention your shite tactics takes for USMNT/England.

Didn’t everyone see this coming.
I know an unpopular opinion on here.
But he didn’t start for Dortmund or play that much. And they’re not good this year.
Add to that the fact that his options to try and get playing time were all so bad that he picked an EPL team that he is not a guaranteed starter at and that isn't very good.
I know a lot of things play into a move during the season.
But some people talk like his potential is better than Pulisic.
Yet here he is. Struggling yet again for playing time.
Know it’s early since the move.
But signs aren’t looking could.

Sargent scores a brace.
Wonder if he’ll play for USMNT

I thought, considering he got with Jorge specifically to make a move and that he had multiple offers, that he'd pick the one that gave him the easiest path to playing time.

He is the Dempsey to Pulisic's Donovan. Pulisic has been and will always be the more consistent performer for club and country, but Gio is that dude who has the sauce on the ball and the cockiness to match that he isn't afraid to do some otherworldly shite just to humiliate the opponent.
I think injuries have really fricked up his potential more than anything though, because every time he's fully healthy and strings matches together, it's usually a positive result whether that has been for BVB or for the USMNT. The biggest issue is that this is the first time since like 2021 where he has gone multiple months without an injury.

But that's the odd part of it. Forests attacking front is like the only good part of that team and you could see none of them were going to move aside.

Pulisic with an assist and now a late equalizer

I’m no expert on Forest. But from what I read. A lot of different things had to happen and change and fall in place for Geo to see the field.
So it was my understanding when reading this that he wasn’t going to get much playing time
