this will take off primarily because most women (~80%) do shopping and most women/teens are the ones who own iphones

Went to McDonalds this morning. So many people were waiving their androids at the scanner I should have taken a video and posted it...better yet I forgot I set up a time-lapse camera 5 years ago..I'll post all those androids users swiping ...Oh wait!

What had it 5 years ago? I thought the Nexus S was first in Late 2010 to get basic NFC and was it the Galaxy Nexus that started Google Wallet in late 2011? Don't remember what had it before those two.

Umm except know one is talking about, much less cares, if your credit card has a chip in it. The whole point is you're not going to have to pull out a credit card anymore.

But I guess that's a difficult concept for you.

If the card has nfc, then it can be used with a tap just like the phone. No swipe and sign. It's the same tech... which we keep trying to tell you.
