I rarely if ever download anything. A few years ago I grabbed a season of a TV show to take with me when I was on an airplane and I just watched it through VLC. Much better option when you're offline than trying to get the Plex app to cooperate. Just double click the file.

I sent you an invite. You just need to accept either from the link sent to your e-mail or from Plex itself if you can find the notification to accept my invite. My server is called cajunflix. I doubt anyone has anything close to my server.

Also, I don't know how new you are to using Plex, but it's very helpful if you can pin the server's libraries you are more frequently likely to use and then organize them to show at the top.

TLDR your own personal Netflix for around $30 a year.
Stremio is a streaming app

that uses addons to enable you to search and watch practically any move/TV series.
You can stream for free by streaming from torrents but most users in the US and other countries that will get copyright notices from their ISP for torrenting use a debrid service.
A debrid is basically a service you pay to download a torrent on your behalf, so you don't have to worry about a copyright notice. In addition, it caches all of the torrents people request so that the vast majority of moves etc. are already in the cache so the stream immediately with no wait. You are streaming from the debrid service so no worries about torrenting. The debrid will take down a file if an infringement notice id file against them but there is always more choices all the way up to full 4k remuxes.
Most debrids have a single IP address at a time restriction but Torbox allows sharing as long as no abuse.(They seem generous in allowances)
The biggest and oldest would be https://real-debrid.com/
But there are others like https://torbox.app/
and
https://alldebrid.com/

I have my own plex server that I use fairly extensively, though I dont have that much time to watch tv generally. My collection is mostly a curated cache of stuff Ive been hoarding starting probably 20 years that I still add stuff to as i get an envie for this or that. I also collect LSU highlight videos.

I'm having trouble getting this to work, lol. So I'm a Chiller Mechanic and recently my company has started sending me to controls classes and the whole automation and hosting etc has intrigued me. Now I'm a newbie with an interest trying to learn.
