Are airlines or airports doing temp checks?

Mask requirements in airports vs airplanes?

Flying with kids so trying to be prepared.

Anything else to consider?

Both.

We flew from Bham to ATL to Salt Lake and back last week. Add some extra time for delays. We got to the airport 2hrs ahead of time. In Salt Lake, that was WAY more than enough time. In Bham, we cut it close due to the delays. The TSA, airlines, airports and all the businesses surrounding them have issues with employees. It took way longer than normal to get through the airport.

Masks as still a PIA.

No booze for non-first class.

American and Southwest should be off limits until they get their shite straight.

no

Yes on airplanes. You can wear them around your chin or take it off in the airport. It was about 50/50 with people wearing masks yesterday in ATL airport.

Bring food with you. All the food court restaurants were closed at 5:30 pm yesterday in Atlanta. If flight times require you to eat something quick at the airport, bring your own snacks.

Go, fly, have fun. Bring a mask. Pretty easy other than that.

Most everyone has mentioned you'll need to 100% be wearing your mask when going through security at the airport, and on the airplane. Pro-tip - bring snacks / food on to the plane and munch on it the whole time so you don't have to wear your mask

I've been on some flights where the flight attendants really didn't care, and on others where there was one walking the aisles every 10 minutes enforcing it.

Flew last week. Everyone wears a mask in the airport but you don't have to. I strolled through the airport mask free and nobody said a word

They'll freak out on the plane though if it isn't covering your nose

No temperature checks

Flew with my three year old to Cancun a few weeks ago who can be very temperamental when forced to wear a mask since we never made him otherwise.

I just ALWAYS kept some form of snack in his lap/hands. They never said a word.

Truth. SWA better bring back booze or I will bolt. 2 weeks ago flew Delta to Salt Lake and this week taking United to Sacramento. I am A-List preferred with SWA, use them for work travel, but they are close to losing my business, even as shitty as United is.

Agreed. Southwest has gone down. I used to fly exclusively with them, but have started branching out to others. Although, admittedly, I've experienced delays or cancellations every flight in the past 8 weeks and that was spread across United, American, and SW. They all suck right now.
