Help finding a good camping location.

I would like to bring my family and in-laws for a camping vacation. In Louisiana or close to Louisiana. My boys are 5&6 years old.
I would like something that has lodging. Trails, fishing, waterfalls are a plus.
Thanks,

Any state campground has cabins (and usually trails/fishing/something else).
lake chicot is cool, bogue chitto is the newest of our state campgrounds (their trail system is really neat), and toledo bend has beautiful views.
Fountainbleu, lake fousse point, etc are also nice.
if you are looking for tent camping, the state campgrounds have those too.
There are also private campgrounds...they cost a little more but usually have more amenities (but also you have to deal with golfcart campers...they are a whole other segment of the camping world)
I would check arkansas/north alablama state campgrounds if you are looking for waterfalls.

Check out the Arkansas state park website, much better than anything available in Louisiana

I’ll second the Arkansas State Park system. I’ve hiked and stayed at several. Petit Jean, Mount Magazine and Mt. Nebo. All seem very well run and maintained and are reasonably priced.

You mean cabins or open to tent camping?
