My wife got some "free" cruise from NCL (not thru a casino BTDT) and BOGO airfare for any cruise up to 10 days.

Looking at a 9 day European cruise but were quoted $6k per person to upgrade to the Haven.

Is that too steep? I've done the Haven once and I didn't don't think it was that high. I do have a $500 credit from some stupid Cruise Next promotion I signed up for in Alaska when I was drunk.

Only you can answer that question, but if it was me, and I had the extra cash to splurge...absolutely.

My aunt and uncle swear by The Haven experience. They love it.

I think it’s way too pricey. You could book a suite on Celebrity and get the same level of service for cheaper.

If a balcony room is free, you could take the free room and save the $12k for another trip.

I could afford it but I just think $1300/night for the upgrade is too much unless it comes with "party favors" just kidding Feds.

The Haven is very nice. I have never stayed in the Haven but I was on a cruise with some friends who did and we hung arount with them in the exclusive areas.
That said, cruises are not my favorite way to see Europe because they don't spend enough time in the ports, especially at night.
For that kind of money I would much rather do my own thing on land and go 1st class all the way. I would rather be in top notch European hotels and restaurants.

Agree.

One pro is that you can hit a ton of ports at one time that you may not ordinarily get to visit if it's your first time visiting Europe...see which ones you like/dislike, and go back to just those ports you enjoyed in the future.
