Just booked a stay there for a conference I am attending.

I've only been to Vegas twice. Once was a week at Red Rock and we stayed out there most of the time. Other time I was only there 1 night at Vdara and didn't have time to do much at all.

What are some good places at Park MGM or nearby to eat? I'm not a crazy far-out eater, I like normal food, a good steak, nothing too extreme.

Also, it appears the tram between Park MGM and Bellagio is still down for COVID... anyone know when it might be back up and running?

Well you’re pretty much right in the center of it all. In between Aria and NYNY. Eataly there at Park MGM has mixed reviews. I think the positives outweigh the negatives.

Gordon Ramsay Burger at Planet Hollywood
Gilley’s at Treasure Island
Peppermill down past Wynn/Encore
In-n-Out burger if you’re a first timer.
Shake Shack in front of NYNY
Secret Pizza at the Cosmo is popular

Piero’s is a popular Italian restaurant behind the LV Convention Center. Piero’s used to be frequented by mobsters. Even the movie Casino was filmed there. Their Osso Bucco is their signature dish.

I’m not sure if the Tram is up or not. Same with the monorail. All restrictions have been lifted in Vegas.

Try to make it downtown to Fremont. Heart Attack Grill, Pizza Rock. Circa is the new adult casino there. Biggest sports book in Vegas plus stadium swim up top. Resorts World is opening up at the end of the month so give us a review if you stop by. It’ll be right there next to Circus Circus on the strip.

Be sure to take pictures baw.

Just got back from Vegas yesterday. Covid is over in Vegas. Place was packed! Go checkout the sports book at the Cirque casino down on Fremont, pretty awesome.

For food I highly suggest Wolfgang Pucks Cut at the Venitian. Damn good.

We go at least once a year and have stayed at Park MGM for the last 4 trips. Love the location and convenience of bouncing around NYNY, ARIA, etc. Casino at Park MGM is nothing special (at least is smoke free), but proximity to good food and casinos is hard to beat.

Eatly is okay, but waits are always ridiculous. We walk across the street to Tom’s Urban for breakfast most days, and Shake Shack for a quick bite. NYNY has some great restaurants, but a lot of stuff was still closed when I was there a month ago.

Echo the comment about Freemont and Circa. That's where I want to stay next. So awesome.

ETA: rooms at Park MGM are one of the better values in that area of the strip, being newly renovated and not insanely priced.

It's really not that far of a walk to the Bellagio from there, and if Uber/Lyft recover, the fare was only like $8 when I was there last year. I took one from Bellagio to the hockey arena right there by Park MGM, then walked back. I honestly didn't even know there was a tram. The walk is kind of annoying though because you have to go across the street on the pedestrian bridge a couple of times. But I was super high at the time so that probably made the walk more enjoyable.

Staying there in august, haven’t been to vegas since 2018, but used to go a couple times a year. The location is amazing, but haven’t experienced the hotel since the remodel. From videos is looks pretty good, and the price is really low.

I wish Park MGM stayed as the Monte Carlo. It is a bland casino, but it’s location is its strength. T-Mobile Arena is right behind it and Park would be packed during a UFC event or Knights game. If the Tram is back up, you can just walk over to Aria and take it straight over.

Definitely hit up Bavette’s, their dry aged Ribeye is exceptional.

I’d strongly recommend a visit to Eataly if you’ve never been.

You're right by some of my favorite restaurants in Vegas:

Best Friend in Park MGM - Korean/Mexican fusion from Roy Choi. Really good food and a unique vibe, waiters wear old school Run DMC jumpsuits and there's hip hop playing.

Beauty and Essex in Cosmo - Tapas with some unique dishes like mexican street corn ravioli and grilled cheese dumplings. It's Chopped judge Chris Santos' place. Style is speakeasy vibe, dimly lit.

Momofuku in Cosmo - David Chang's place doing asian american and noodle dishes.
