Can't get a straight answer from Norwegian 'entertainment/casino' staff....Does either vessel have a sportsbook and or a pickleball court ?

Cruise ships typically do not have a sports book. No need to when you’re only there for a week. They don’t have the capacity to take bets like that.

Most ships have a sports court that is configured for basketball. They could set it up for pickle ball. Check the deck plan. Also try a chat board on Cruise Critic.

Thanks for your information. Cruise ships all have casinos you would think they would partner with any of the dozens of existing sports books...you know like for a customer service kind of incentive !

Why? They don't have american TV on the boats, it's not like you can watch the games.

No on the sportsbooks and while they don't have pickleball court they do have b-ball courts that they will put up temporary nets for at times for open play.

I think it’s because sports book betting is hard to control. A ship could have to make a massive payout over a single game. They don’t have the capacity to have that kind of cash.

Also, none of the ships are registered in the US, so it could be illegal.

They don’t have the capacity to monitor multiple games across multiple sports.

Slots and table games simplify their casino business which is very limited in space. They can also control the odds and maximize profit.

Carnival is supposed to be doing something with BetMGM next year.

Not sure if it will be an actual book or just a way to do mobile sports betting from the ship.

Wrong...even on Carnival boats [in the middle of the Gulf], I've watched live sporting events via ESPN,FS1-2 etc. from their sports bar adjacent to their casino !
