Most of the tourists are bugging out due to the incoming storm.

We've got the crew heading to Destin tomorrow.
Any updates on the water quality since Cristobal passed through? Did it cloud up that beautiful blue water?

Any update on bars in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach. Are they functioning at a normal level?

Everything but restaurants(some) at 50% is functioning normal. It’s crowded as ever so don’t expect to go eat out with a family of 20 at 7pm. Other than that, we are rocking and rolling!

Port Saint Joe and St George Island were completely normal and restaurants were at capacity. Maybe saw 2 people wearing masks.

In 30a now and seaside and rosemary are both full of karens and is like I walked back into mid-april covid here. Masks required to go in places and some are selling them for $8 if you don't have one. . The beach access in town is now locked and by "reservation only" and you're not allowed to bring your own umbrella or chairs but seaside will rent you a set for $95. The semicircle behind post office is blocked and full of large tents with outdoor tables.

I went in circles trying to find a parking spot and if you park anywhere they'll hit you with a $58 ticket. Loved finding that on my vehicle after we just spent $300 in the little village for father's day this past Sunday. I even specifically parked far away and made sure there was no sign saying saying "no parking".

In short 30a is fine if you bring your own food to cook, use a different beach access and avoid shopping.

Reading that makes me sure I will never visit that area of 30A. Being extreme Karen’s and pulling a money grab just pisses me off.

I had only been there once for a little day trip.

OB and Gulf Shores are absolutely packed. The travel sports circuit has resumed so that adds more families. Restaurants are 2-3 hour wait. Flora Bama is wide open.

Seaside can be like that even absent Covid-19. Place is absolutely miserable.

Stayed at beach house in Fort Morgan last week with no rain it was great. Beaches empty.

Headed into Gulf Shores one day to take my son to Souvenir City and it was crowded as hell. No masks anywhere, 2+ hour wait at Lulu's, and all the drive-thru lines backed up onto the highway. This was on a Wednesday during the day. Crazy.

Yeah, God bless you.

To pick that circus ring of a place for the holiday week was pretty dumb.

You can go down at 7:00AM and have no wait and enjoy the beach for a while in the mornings. It’s going to be pure hell on the beaches and dealing with elevators the rest of the day.

They do have a little bar so that may help you.
