I was always fan of Gary. I think he gets a lot of hate for perceived bias, but his knowledge of the SEC and football in general was always excellent.

I'm sure he's a nice guy. Likely a multi millionaire unless he's just a complete idiot with money, happily retired. But that is one voice I will not miss calling LSU games.

TV people do that. On the con side, they think they're royalty. On the pro side, they are often referring to the entire team and not just themselves.
