ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood has flipped his commitment from LSU to Michigan. Underwood later confirmed the flip on social media.

Underwood, a native of Belleville, Mich., just 30 minutes from Michigan's campus, is the No. 1 overall recruit for the class of 2025. He initially committed to LSU in January and was recently on campus for the Alabama game on November 9th.

Michigan reportedly offered Underwood $10.5 million last week to flip to the Wolverines.

The loss of Underwood is a massive hit to LSU's 2025 recruiting class, which is getting ready to sign in two weeks during the early signing period.

The Tigers lost four-star offensive lineman Devin Harper to Ole Miss last week, and four-star wide receiver Derek Meadows is on flip watch as signing day approaches.

Buckle up for an interesting two weeks ahead.

Let's be honest. This kid didn't flip his commitment. The truth is, college kids don't have a clue what commitment is and they are only committed to M O N E Y!!!

It’s why I gave up my season tickets. When the mood strikes I’ll continue to go grab free tickets outside the stadium at kickoff

Nil has ruined the sport

With the portal and NIL college football is nothing more than the minor leagues for the NFL. The powers that be can’t admit that the Student Athlete hasn’t been a thing for some quite some time, and it damn sure isn’t now.

Kids have flipped commitments for years. Pulling a kid from Michigan was always a tough bet.

Anyone who didn’t see that one coming is blind. It’s all about the money. The Michigan coach gets fired before BK.

I cant say how much I like this. Take that 5 or 7 million we were about to gamble on the QB and invest in the line.

Exactly. Hit that portal. Ole Piss went from good to a contender simply due to the portal.

@cajun: I can't tell if you're serious or not.. Ole Piss is nowhere near a contender, but LSU did win a natty with the portal.
