Four-star edge rusher Damien Shanklin from Indianapolis, Ind., announced his commitment to LSU on Friday.

Shanklin picked the Tigers over Ohio State and Alabama.

The 6-5, 235-pound prospect from Warren Central High School is the No. 1 player from Indiana and the No. 11 rated edge rusher in the country for the class of 2025.

LSU is gonna have the most dominant defensive line & offensive lines at the same time. Just too many elite recruits with fresh legs subbing in nonstop. Can’t beat that. NFL factory here in the boot

Watch out if LSU starts dominating DL recruiting! LSU will be back at the top and a scary team to play if we can consistently pull these types of lineman. The rest will follow. Start dominating the DL we will get the best LBs and DBs. Start dominating the OL, we will get the best QBs and skill players. Looks like it’s happening. I for one was never worried once we landed the right coaches.
