New LSU transfer quarterback Husan Longstreet shared several photos of his offseason workouts on social media this week.

Included in the photos was an old picture of him and former LSU coach Ed Orgeron from a visit to Baton Rouge during his high school days...

Longstreet, a former five-star passer from Corona, Calif., was rated a top-five quarterback in the country for the class of 2025 and was recruited by Lane Kiffin when he was at Ole Miss.

Longstreet appeared in four games for USC last season as a backup and completed 13 of 15 passes for 103 yards and one touchdown. He added 76 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

He will have four years of eligibility remaining at LSU.

I believe he’s going to play a bigger part this season than many expect.

He looks the part that’s for sure. I’m very excited about the future of our program. We’ve been a sleeping giant for awhile, I think we are about to wake up feeling like King Kong.

Cant wait to cheer on our local United States products. When do we start recruiting internationally? We need a good recruiting pipeline to Russia for some linebackers.

Depending on how ready Leavitt actually is, he might need to start the first game or two. However, even if Leavitt is ready, I just don't see him staying healthy all year. Too reckless when he runs, and has already been injured.
