If you disagree…….why?

It definitely has a special place for me. Got it at midnight and finished it that day.
Goblet of Fire is also a favorite of mine for strictly sentimental reasons. It was the first of the “bigger” Harry Potter books that felt like they really dove into the overall world. I also re-read it quite a bit waiting for OoTP to come out since there was about a 3 year gap between them.

Either that or Azkaban
Yeah, the Azkakban is the best. Prince is 2nd-best, though.

Definitely the worst of the lot. All the relationship drama just gets irritating.

Chamber wasn't great - its been a while since i've read these. May need to buy some used hardbacks since mine got donated to some school when we moved.

Same. It came out a couple of days after my brother was born. He had some serious complications at birth and they told my parents he may not survive the first night. With us being up at the hospital 24/7 I was pretty bored/concerned. When they found out I really wanted to get that book the day it came out they immediately sent someone with me to get a copy.
I read it in about 2 days and re-read it I don't know how many times in that hospital. On top of being a big HP at the time, that book was my only escape from the situation my family was going through. I still remember walking down the hall in between chapters trying to get a peak at him in the window through the nursery into into the NICU.

Oh yeah he is fine. Came out with a little hearing loss from some experimental drugs they had to give him and he towers over me. Damn kid got all the height in the family

I agree. Rowling does a really good job of weaving tales in this one. The backstory of Voldemort, Harry and Dumbledore, plus she manages to interweave all the normal teenager crap without it being insufferable.
She really does put on a clinic when it comes to writing fiction.
So, Harry and Jennie totally get it on down by the lake, right?

Nope. Prisoner of Azkaban is the correct answer

I've only seen the movies, but isn't HBP considered the worst movie? And why? I vaguely recall when one of the films came out it wasn't very faithful with the book, apparently whiffing on the books themes. I'm not exactly sure what film it was.

Goblet of Fire was my favorite, followed by Chamber of Secrets.

You gotta read the books.
Half blood prince movie changes things up in the ends and it pissed off a lot of fans.

It's funny how everyone is saying Azkaban is one of the best and Order of the Phoenix is the worst. I remember thinking Order was the best and Azkaban was the worst but I read them when I was like 9-12 years old so im sure my opinion would be different now. I just remember being glad to finally get away from Hogwarts a bit and into the outside world and the start of the war.
