Can anyone recommend a good biography on Napoleon? Thanks

A lot of people consider this the definitive bio. It has been sitting on my bookshelf unread for about 8 years. It is 976 pages. Fascinating man. I have read some of the military focused stuff already and i need to start this one.

The one by Alan Schom is good.

I agree. I loved it. I have several Roberts books

The book by Andrew Roberts is the only one you'll ever need in terms of biographies.

The Roberts biography of Napoleon is highly readable.

Anything focused on Murat? He was kind of a piece of shite but in the likeable rogue way.
