Sunrise on the Reaping is next. Then the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Tried watching Ballad of S & S last year and couldn’t get through it so hoping re-reading all plus Reaping will help. Good movies, aren’t they?

I liked the book. It provides so much backstory as to why Haymitch has such a vendetta against the capitol and why he is the way he is as we see him the Hunger games with Katniss . You’ll like it also

The road that made America : the great wagon road by James Dodson
It’s about this guy who drives the old revolutionary war road from Philly down to Georgia. Telling his story and weaving in the stories of the stops and the history along the way
Was a little leery at first but enjoying it now
A similar book is Timothy Egan ( who can do no wrong as far as writing goes ) “ a pilgrimage to eternity “ where he travels from Canterbury to Rome and exploring his faith and history of the churches along the way. An interesting read.

Enjoy!
One of the few books I wish I could go back read for the first time again.
Actually my second read. First was over 10 years ago. Good thing about having seizures growing up was that your memory is so bad it's like you're reading stuff for the first time ever if you wait long enough
Plus I've watched the Jim Caveziel and Guy Pearce movie a few times over the years so that has thrown me off too.
