Lombardi’s name was mentioned as an OC candidate for the Cowboys. I don’t see him moving to college unless he’s given play calling duties.
It would be a great opportunity for him to build his resume and repair any damage his OC stint in Detroit caused to his reputation.

John morton is going to be a coach at lsu. They have him a coach in waiting on Wikipedia for lsu after 5 hours ago. Congrats everyone

John Morton has been out of coaching since the Jets dumped him over a year ago, ssburas2005, so why do you keep throwing this guy in our face? Why do you feel this guy is all world?

He did the same thing with Sarkisian. He posted 10 posts in a row that Sark would be LSU’s OC, even listing the salary.

Yes I said never really an oc because he only got the job at the last minute because someone got fired.
And could barely last the year and it was his one and only of job, so yeah I think barely an oc applies here.
If his name wasnt Lombardi I doubt he ever gets that job.

But LSU is not searching for an OC. They are searching for a position coach. Lombardi would be a great addition. He could work with qb’s and Ensminger can help Joseph with Receivers or just be the OC and not have to worry about a position.

TN pulled David Johnson from the recruiting road over the weekend. He's been rumored to be a target by you guys and Auburn, so something might break with him soon.

You might hear rumors but don't look for a announcement until after signing day or on signing day. Being down a staff member allows the head coach more freedom in recruiting because he is allowed to fill in for the missing staff member.

Coach john morton I looked up is being reported on twitter account called mike da tigah and 4 lsu reporters are reporting that john morton is a coach in waiting and he can't make it official until nsd on feb. 7th. He runs a usc style and mixture offense that he learned from sean payton which is a prostyle/spread.

I hope that this is true. It's being reported that nothing has been finalized.
