Not sticking up for him at all because with a competent head coach and recruiting coordinator you shouldn’t need a guy like him, but wasn’t this his first year back? Not sure how much roster management could be done.

Isn't it though. We only have 14 out of a potential 32 total. Maybe another half dozen high school and hopefully, there are at least 6-8 players to can walk in and immediately start/contribute from the portal. Save a few to carry over for next season. Maybe several starters from ND come South??

Old Lonn on Twitter is trying to give him credit for the national title in 2019, which happened two years after he left for Texas 8&4, so I’m pretty sure he can get some of the blame for what happened when he was actually here.

Good. Head coach should be top dog of the program. Looking for Austin to jump back to A&M because they try to imitate everything we do here.

I could see BK hiring his own guy to be a “GM” of the program. Would undoubtedly be a much more smooth operation than under O. The fact that O let the scholarship players drop below 55 for two years in a row is grounds for firing had he not been removed already. Total incompetence.
