I wrote above... he was likely out in KC.

I see you wrote that but wonder why he was is on his way out at KC? I see Mort reported this info first, but didn't give any background. The KC GM is the same guy that was at NE when Weiss and Josh McD were there, I'd like to know whats going on.

But Mort was tweeting that Weis was going to be out at KC regardless

Why is this? KC is as legit as any team in teh AFC outside of NE.

Their offense is rollin just fine.

for whatever reason Pioli/ Haley

prefer Mcdaniels over Weiss.

edit: apparently local papers have been reporting all year Haley and Weiss haven't gotten along.

it's a shame because he was great with that offense.

Weis probably thought Haley was an idiot for continuing to give Thomas Jones more carries than Jamaal Charles.

If he was really on the college football market I would hope Les miles quickely got on the phone with him an set up the best seafood buffet Louisiana has to offer.

I didn't think people progressed with NFL guys until their season was over. KC is in the playoffs.

Adamm, will Haley and Josh be able to get past handshakegate to make this work?

it's not a definite Mcdaniels will be hired. That's just what Mortensen is reporting right now.

I wonder how Weiss, with his personality and experience as a head coach will get along with Muschamp, a first year HC.

Mort just tweeted this. Makes sense.

"On Weis, also have updated to report his exit was inevitable. Haley had strong oversight w offense & Cassel. Weis wants autonomy."

He can't find somebody who weighs less than 250 pounds that can competently run an offense?

weis is not a popular guy. he rubs people wrong. with that said, he is a very good o.c. his personality is why he can't stay anywhere to long. will be interesting to see if w.m. and weis can get along. weis may think he's the h.c.

He made a mistake in leaving the NFL. He'd get a job as on OC in the NFL even if he was on his way out at KC. Why would you go from the first class travel and facilities in the NFL and not having to worry about discipline problems and grades and have to go on the road to beg pimply- faced 17 year olds to come play for you?
