I just don't understand why schools mess with Sexton. Unless one of his clients is at a non power 5 or is a coordinator, rule of thumb should be don't mess with him.

Why are the "Jimbo fell through" posts any more reliable than the "Jimbo is a done deal" posts?

Exactly. Sexton is doing his job as an agent. Not that Jimbo doesnt want to listen to LSU, but he is trying to get the most money for his client.
He knows LSU will have to give him a raise to lure him. And you better believe they'll get with FSU before anything happens to see what they have to offer.

Kelly is far from a home run......not really a good recruiter, as if I recall correct he relied on Juco guys at Oregon.

This is what it is now. Talking with the agent is legal and means things are never certain (done) till a signature. Because, just like Les with Arky, it could all be a bargaining tactic to get more money from where you are.

I think Chip would do wonders with the caliber of athlete he could recruit here. The only question mark is can he field a defense that will compliment such a high powered offense? Can't have the D on the field for 35 plus minutes like this year
