I agree with everything you said except for the Lacy comment.

Seeing how bad we were this year made me realize how good Lacy really was.

He was the offense.

Best of luck to Coach Hankton, seems like a good dude who his players love. Not that great of a recruiter and doesn't get the most out of his group but hes a solid addition to any program.

What a spectacular downgrade from Brian Hartline who had a 7 year reign there as probably the best in the business. He must interview ridiculously well because his on-field results weren’t it

How was he as a high school recruiter?

Big hat on the table guy.

Also a big get a commitment in March and lose it by September guy. That happened to LSU the last two years with the #1 WR in the country. Dak Moore and Tristan Keys.

Hankton is great at getting your school to be considered, and not finishing the job. Then you'll sign a couple of guys ranked around #15-20 and convince yourself that they're good enough. They're not good enough.

Hartline got a lot of the credit for recruiting and developing their receiver room and I believe they are about to miss him immensely. Hankton is average across the board and I doubt that will be accepted at Ohio State.

Listing “5 years older” as a reason he’s better than Hartline is uhhh… something. That whole tweet is certainly a take.

Only gripe with Tez was the same i had with frank. Less is more. Nail your top 4-5 guys and let it ride. The over rotating of receivers was insane.

Geo fans were glad to see him go as were LSU fans. After next season OH ST fans will want him gone. The good ole boy system is alive and well in college and pro football. It doesn’t matter if you can coach or not.

Disappointing doesn't mean he was bad, it means he didn't live up to what we thought he'd be. He was productive but you can't deny he never hit that peak that we all thought he'd be. He had a big catch in Ole Miss game but outside that, he really never was the big elite guy we thought he'd be. He had chronic drops in key situations just like all the WRs under Hankton seemed to suffer for some weird reason.

This! Hell he flipped Burton from us and also snatched Pickens! He’s going to kill it at Ohio st.

He’s the definition of hiring the resume and not the individual. Such a great hire on paper but such a bad hire in reality

That’s false. He made Nuss look like a decent QB. Also had good numbers as the #3 WR with JD.

Lacy was a great WR on an awful team.

And what was LSU or OSU going to do for an Addias kid?

UT sold their soul to go back to an inferior product

Dude cost us Justyce Haynes because he was hitting on his mom. He couldn't control the WR room at UGA and Coley had to step in and take over. On that note, frick OSU. I'm glad he landed there

Yea that’s pretty ridiculous to say LSU let them get away

One went to Oregon who has more money than anyone and the other went to his adidas school. Interesting to cherry pick those two kids as well when the body of work for Hankton just isn’t that good here but whatever. Good luck

I’m sure he will recruit well at Ohio state. Everyone does. It’s Ohio state.
