This is why the Coaches Changes Board always becomes corrupt with lies, rumors , and school boy fantasizing

Maybe I'm wrong, but didn't he also make Coach O the 2nd highest paid coach in the country

Yes you are wrong because the money was given prior to O causing the dumpster fire. I will not waste time explaining to you how winning a NC guarantees top money, especially if written in a contract.

Scott still gives O the full $17 million?

He couldn't save any money at all

Sorry, I'm struggling to see how he is the GOAT

Well, no one can make you understand...

Hell, I think I could actually save LSU some money and get the same guys so I think I'm the GOAT

This right here is comical! Thank you for the laugh!

The Freeman and Nielsen deals were sacrificed to bring us Lincoln now.

Not sure you're ogetting it.

No one is suggesting LSU not honor O's contract which included a bonus for winning a NC. Nor is anyone suggesting SW not give him a raise and extension for winning a NC.

Unfortunately, SW inherited a bad apple who of all things wins a NC.

What raises concerns is not the sort, but the magnitude. That's on SW.

This is the truth.

Do you have any idea what kind of skill set it takes to get access to that kind of money repeatedly? And to have the donors give it enthusiastically? The man is trying to build you something, you cretin.

Self-incrimination.

Let's give the new coach Saban's pay X3. Or make it 4X. Too risky at only 12 million/yr.

Riley is a very good passing game coordinator. That's it. The infatuation with him is just odd.

You realize he has a top 5 offense like every year right?

In the time it took you to type that, Justin Jefferson could have scored another touchdown against him.

But he’d leave for a promotion to LSU.

Like I said, I can't understand it for you. Because you believe there is "magnitude" to the situation shows you don't know how the big game is played. The raise, extension and buyout were not for O, it was for the next coach to show LSU's commitment to winning. and the reward that comes with it.

And Chase and Clyde scored against Saban in that time. What’s your point?
