What could possibly go wrong?

That would be dangerous and an awesome hire IMO

Totally. The two guys would mesh incredibly well. 2 like personalities, offensive masterminds both in their prime…..no way would it fail

It would be amazing theater

The roads are straighter there in College Station than they are in Fayetteville area, so he won't have to negotiate those sharp turns with a coed on the back of his motorcycle.

The aggy fans are thrilled with the possibility of hiring Petrino. Their faith in Jimbo is at an all time high, all 23 kids in the portal plus those who are entering soon are begging to stay and be part of the imminent dynasty
All bc they beat LSU
Crazy times

Petrino would be a hell of a OC making A&M dangerous or totally toxic. There won’t be an in between.

but let’s not forget he knows offense.
He did about 10 years ago. I hope they hire him

He is an excellent offensive minded coach. But yeah.... Jimbo is desperate.

He’s an a-hole and a scumbag but you are correct.

Petrino is a difference maker. A&M gets instantly better if he goes there.

Petrino was the greatest offensive coach to be in the SEC since Spurrier. He may have been better.

I think his problem was not being able to negotiate with the fists of his side-piece’s fiancé.

Jimbo would be a fool to let that snake in the door. Petrino is probably working some boosters, being promised the HC in a couple years once the buyout is sane. That's always been his style. He's slimier than Orgeron.

Shades of Cam Cameron to LSU.

People laughing this off don't realize just how good Petrino was at Arkansas. They were a machine on offense.

Yeah 10 years ago. Jimbo was considered an offensive genius 10 years ago too.

Jimbo's "genius" time was pre-Les Miles.
When he went to Fla State, it wasn't because of his schemes, it was because he was a coordinator on the ground with Saban, and they wanted the overall program system.
