Pretty surprising statistic.
It seems like you have to be a hall of fame type coach to have a lot of success there (Spurrier, Meyer). That place chews up average coaches.

Strictly in terms of record, LSU's floor has been much higher than Florida's over the past 15 years.
And it's not that guys like Muschamp and McElwain are more incompetent than Les Miles or Ed Orgeron. If anything, it's the other way around.
It is just easier to win at LSU than it is at Florida. It's a better job.

Florida fans are delusional to think that they’re a better job than LSU

Someone broke down the records of the different big 6 SEC schools under their best head coaches vs everyone else, and its surprising how similar they all were record wise. "X school needs a good coach to win" is pretty much true everywhere... even Bama was fairly pedestrian outside of their best coaches. O having the stars align for one year or Miles getting one with 2 losses in a time period where that didn't really happen doesn't change that for LSU.... those are outliers not the rule.

Florida State has lost at least 6 games in 7 of the last 9 seasons.

It’s also 10 of the last 16 years with at least 5 regular season losses. They just have not been a factor since Meyer left.

And guess which two seasons LSU got them.

It's pretty amazing how many coaches UF has misfired on.

Would like to see this. IMO Bama, Georgia, and LSU have a much higher floor than Tennessee, Florida, and Auburn.

Dead program that is clinging to the past. Meyer is their entire history and they know it.
