He has to be seriously looking for work to get his buyout money

I’m sure that his agent has floated his name to a few programs. I doubt that he would be a good fit at Iowa State though.

Oh I’m sure bielema just gave up 3.8 million willingly.
He didn’t give anything up. He decided against risking all or nothing when with a settlement he’d still get a hearty check. You know, one of the main reasons parties settle, even when cases are materially in their favor going in

This isn’t that hard. No reason to make it so

Ah yes.

I know that I refuse 3.8 million on contractual owed dollars when it’s “nearly impossible” to lose

Quite common.

You don’t need to infect this thread with your confusion any more. Really. It’s okay

You need to stop weasling out of your comments that it’s impossible to enforce.

Otherwise bielema would have fought.

He gave up 3.8 million owed to him

There’s nothing to weasel - it’s near impossible

Bert uniquely fricked himself by taking a borderline internship role with NE. If he’d remained unemployed there’d have been no grounds to even consider withholding payment

Happy to educate off board - share your email and I’ll have an invoice estimate over to you shortly

Kelly is done coaching. He’ll do just enough to appease the mitigation clause, but his arse will never coach again knowing the massive buyout coming his way. Thanks Woodward.

He’ll get his payments for a year or two, then LSU will press him because he should be able to get a job somewhere (mid to lower school) in the next three years.

LSU will get an off-set even if it is $100,000K per year.

Glad to see you agree that bielema would have lost and thus gave up the owed money that was in question.

We are in agreement that Arkansas won.

I said he uniquely fricked himself by the specific role he took, which is how a “near impossible” scenario arises

I can help you out with the law but I don’t have a package for reading comprehension, regrettably

He literally got on the podium and told us this was his last stop multiple times. I have no clue why people are acting surprised that he is going to coast to retirement.

He's trying as hard to find a new job as he did to coach the tigers, which isn't a hell of a lot...
