the hatred for Kelly is about to show in the recruiting flips. How many kids wanted to come here but hated that a-hole.

We aren’t going to replace the whole fricking offensive line. We need to keep Adams, Curne, Thomas, maybe Echols and some of the younger guys who haven’t played much. Definitely Moore if he’s willing to come back. Then COACH THEM. THAT has been the issue, not lack of talent. Not for all of them, ant least.

Then add 3 or 4 of the best from the portal.

I don't think we'll know just how badly this hurt OP. It's more than just decommits in '27, kids who had OP on their final lists are looking elsewhere. A local kid (4*) had tOSU, ND, Texas, Nebraska, and OP in his final 5. At church his dad said they are no longer looking at OM.

I have a feeling you'll see three ways kids will flip. If they want to stay in MS they'll flip to State and if they want to stay with Lane they'll flip that way. Nobody has mentioned kids that might be encouraged to look elsewhere (like Deion did at Colorado).

Ole Miss has either been 1st or 3rd in the SEC in rushing yards since 2020. Why would he leave unless he’s told to? He has a golden opportunity along with Berry.

Look, there's coaching, and there's completely wiffing at pass blocking by our OTs, on guys lined up directly in front of them.
That's bad athletic ability. They all sucked

Don’t know some of these kids and assistants but nice to be like, “ yup, ok he looks good. I’ll take him. Oh, him too. And he can come too, That assistant sounds good… he can come. Oh, how about this guy too…”

A lot of this could be fixed with a new offensive head coach that understands scheming as well as a new line coach.

Wrong. Adams consistently graded out at average or above and was second to Moore on the OL. Those two played at an SEC level when they weren’t injured. 2 just isn’t enough for a functional OL. He absolutely has to be retained. If we can get a good LT in the portal. Move him to the right side.

The rest aren’t really tackles. Curne may end up as a Guard. Echols is a Guard and can be a good run blocker. He needs technique. We don’t even know what Thomas he because he didn’t play after his injury, but tossing away a 5 star just because is insanity.

OL and DL are the least plentiful positions in the portal. You either retain the best you can, coach them up better and supplement, or you flush next season because the OL will have 0 quality depth.

Hopefully, Kiffin is talking to Pittman about coaching the OL!

Whatever...look who was "grading" them.

I dont care if you put a rb at tackle.....there is zero excuse for there to be defender directly in front of him, and him completely WHIF on the block.
I never said get rid of anyone, I said we need better brought in.
Sure, scheme etc helps, but it doesnt replace general brain and body function on a direct block.

Any updates? Them making a big deal about Golding being the "permanent HC" screams of being all about keeping as many commits as they can. You'd think they would've learned from the Matt Luke "permanent HC" fiasco.
