Miles may wind up as the Michigan coach but...............NOT this time. Maybe down the road but NOT this time. Why does everyone think just because Saban has no character that Miles does not either. The man said he's going to be our coach next year and for a long time. Geeez!!!!!!!

if you don't realize that LSU has more tradtion than my family's Thanksgiving dinner (which says alot) than you are not a fan of college football. just because some Nc's and heisman's aren't regulars in baton Rouge, doesn't mean there is not tradition.

why is it we argue about what time kickoff should be, what color our uni's are, how many times will Mike VI ROAR!, etc, etc,

just gave myself an idea...

Its cold.

Come on man, the best football is played in the snow. Now if you would have just said The Big House is a dump that would've been ok. They actually have Port-a-Potties set up inside the Big House because their facilities are disgusting. But on being cold, as Steven A. Smith would say "You're better than that"

What shocks me is that LSU fans would want Les to stay. You have all the talent in the world but some of the poorest game day coaching I've ever seen. As an OSU fan I was extremely disappointed Les was not moving North. He would be pwned for years IMHO and with foolish interviews and quotes to boot! Go Les Go!

i prefer the games that are sunny, have a 2" monsoon, then sunny again. but the humidity goes up- from 85% to 100%. temps around 100.

I think the longer Michigan goes without a coach, the higher probability they will go after Miles again on Jan. 8

He's not going

until Les says "I am not going to coach Michigan next year..or there is a 0% chance I will be Michigan's coach next year"
He's the leading candidate.

One of the "reasons" for Coach Miles not being that interested was that UM was not willing to step up to the plate and pay top dollar for his staff, that according to several newspaper reports out of New Orleans, quoting the infamous Michigan sources. Both sides can argue the merits of which conference is better, but there can be no argument as to which conference pays more to its football coaches and staffs. With that in mind, I don't think that it is a coincidence that the SEC is getting better coaches, resulting in better players, resulting in more wins across the board. Take out the top 2-3 of each conference: the rest of the SEC has gotten noticably better. Can the same be said of the rest of the Big Ten?

There is a difference between being weak and a joke.

"joke" is the more appropriate word.

I don't want to lose Les,but if he goes to Michigan Lloyd Carr will be a thorn in his side.
Carr's office is 3 doors down from the Head Coach Office.

Miles won't go now. He has actual integrity.

And you might want to pay attention to your 'traditions' in this millennium. Obviously the coaches out there are.

Why would anyone go to a program that is going to require divine intervention to keep your job three years from now? Gonna take Jesus to pull that piece of crap out of the toilet and I hear he's more interested in actually making money in a place that's not frozen half the year where the recruiting is easier.
