Hopefully soon IMO.
Took me a while, but I admit it, he's the GOAT college coach and no one compares. It's unfortunate that he didn't realize the NFL wasn't for him before LSU but it is what it is, and it's also unfortunate that he is representing such a classless fan base.
The problem though is he has ruined the SEC. The SEC used to be one of the most competitive conferences in all of college football. Now it's Saban and everyone else at a distance. Saban is responsible for the firings of a few SEC coaches who faced unrealistic expectations to try and compete with the SOB.
So hopefully he has a maximum of 3 years left so the SEC can get back to what it used to be.

So, what your saying, is that Nick Saban ages one-year at a time?

Unfortunately I think he's one of those people addicted to his work and wouldn't know what to do with himself if he retires. I give ten more years at least unless some health problem arises.
So I've already come to accept that LSU won't contend for another decade.

Tired of him? how many championships does it take, lol.
Kick his arse constantly? no reply lol
Can't put a team together to stop it? An O fan no doubt, his spread will be the saviour.
No clue? I have no response to that lol
Got his arse handed to him because of that?????? So it was the spreads being played in the NFL 10+ years ago that ran him out of the NFL.....OK
I have to ask how old are you?
The dumbest post I have ever seen on Tiger Droppings and that is saying a lot. I mean not even LSU fans or true homers can agree with a single word in the post. Or maybe I'm wrong and it will come crashing down tomorrow.
I saw a post that current recruits haven't seen LSU beat Bama since they were in 8th grade. My question is how many years will it take before the powers that be get tired of it? Hoping you allow us another 5 to 10 years. LOL

Just a hunch, but I think he retires after next season

Saban still has a long way to go. He wants to be the oldest college fb coach before he would retire. Coach Joe Pa was 84 years old when he was fired so Saban still has 18 years to go to catch up with Joe Pa in coaching.

I have always said exactly the same thing, that Saban will die on the practice field, if he has his way. Also, he will take care of himself to the max so he can keep on coaching for as long as he can keep winning BIG. I have said that he will be coaching until 75, maybe longer, but there is some hope.....because, Pete Jenkins revealed in an interview last summer that Saban told him last year that at the end of the year he was really tired.
Over the years I have heard many coaches say "Coaching is a young man's game." Saban will not be like Bobby Bowden, trying to hang on even though he couldn't keep up any more. While Bowden was taking his afternoon naps every day, younger coaches were recruiting, scheming, planning, learning more, etc..
One other possibility, where he can stay involved in the game but at a slower pace - maybe he will retire from head coaching and become a consultant like Pete Jenkins.

Candy mentioned 3 minutes in an interview.

Someone will come along that has balls and a vision. They'll make it their life mission to beat his arse and they'll have the support to do so. That won't be LSU until we get new leadership. As things stand, everyone has accepted defeat rather than rose to the challenge and take out the best football coach all time.
I would love to see a true leader take the AD position from alleva and lead us back in to the glory days. There is someone out there who is up to the challenge, we just need the right leadership to find him.

That son of a bitch is ruining college football. I said it when he went to Alabama..... would be the worst thing possible for the SEC and CFB in general.
Alabama has always bent the rules and gets a sick amount of talent. Combine that with his exceptional coaching ability and recruiting drive..... it simply is not fair.

I hate to add to the pitty party but I will. Saban will coach for at least another 7-10 years. LSU and all of the SEC have to endure another decade of this. Then when he retires, he will take over as AD, hire one of the best coaches in Dabo and they will keep on rolling. It is what it is.

74 to 77. nine to twelve more years.
He ain't going anywhere for a very long time.

as long all the top high school players in the country keep going to Bama he will keep coaching. Greatest recruiter of all time by far.

Doubt it. Teams will get tired of him and all go to a spread no huddle offense and will start kicking his arse constantly. He can't put a team together to stop that. Has no clue how to slow that type of offense down. That's exactly why he got his arse handed to him in the pros.
