Ehhh....I think they know Tulane is a stepping stone job. If their coach is someone LSU wants, we would take him.

Half true? It is all facts. LSU is statically the worse school in the SEC. There is no arguing Auburn is a better place to work, live and raise a family. You can let this play out and see what your current state of your program gets you in terms of a HC. Arkansas is more stable than LSU at the moment.

Imagine believing you have all these advantages while watching Auburn have 5 straight losing seasons.

The proof being Auburn hiring a G4 coach first? Or is it because this is the 4th time in 5 hires yall couldn’t land a big fish?

Yeah Auburn is the peak of stability since Mahlzahn got canned.

Sure it’s a better place to live and work, cause that’s what coaches getting paid 100’s of millions of dollars care about.

This issue with Auburn will always be your friend in Tuscaloosa. You will always be second fiddle. That issue doesn’t exist at LSU. “NIL Budget” is a hidden figure majority of times anyways.

Love your love for your school, but you can be objective on some things and 99.9 percent of the population that knows CFB would agree the LSU job is in the tier above Auburn, no matter the “political disarray”

Not that he is our pick, but why would there be a political issue of LSU taking Tulane’s coach?
What kind of political pull does Tulane have against LSU? None that I can think of.

Summerall is going somewhere. He has ties to Auburn. That makes sense.

The endowment part is BS by facts. Auburn 1.2 B vs LSU 1.1B. No where close to double.

LSU has the largest “uncontested” recruiting area in the SEC.

I think I read somewhere that Louisiana sends more players to the NFL per capital than anywhere in the country.

Look at the best 3 receivers in the nfl last year, Chase, Jefferson, Lamb, all from the Boot…

Let's see how it all plays out in the end. BR is a shithole. LSU is a woke shithole. The gov is a functional retard and you have a woke hire as AD. Let's see how it plays out.

What does any of this have to do with Auburn bargain bin shopping again?

More stable. We have better administrators. Better city/community. Twice the endowment and better school.

This part is accurate. However, there is an 800lbs gorilla right down the road that makes Auburn not a better job. It’s the reason AU has had a brief history of success in football. You are always second in the state much less the conference.

Is it a great town, clean, great community, financially secure? Absolutely. I’d send my kids there in a heart beat.

However, if I’m a coach, I’m going where there is fruitful recruiting grounds and less competition for that talent. The pay will be equal. It should make me more successful if I do my job well. I would have longer tenure and more opportunities.

At AU, you have to beat bama consistently or you are fired. There was some success under dye and tubs, however, It’s been a revolving door since Saban got there and it doesn’t look like it’s changing any time soon.

We are going to be buying from the same bin. LSU fans are beyond delusional to think Kiffin or Saban are coming. LSU is more likely to name Frank Wilson as HC as anyone y'all list. Getting James Franklin would be far worse than any G5 coach on the market.
