He hasn’t been a head coach long enough to know if he’s a good coach, or not. It still baffles me as to why LSU would consider him.
It's the coaching market. The really good and proven coaches have jobs just as good as LSU or better jobs or they are in the NFL. So the good and proven coaches most likely aren't leaving for LSU.

Ohio State is a school you don’t leave, like Bama, LSU, they are the premier destination.

Ohio state is in the playoffs nearly every year and has won a championship recently and played in a championship literally last year. Yes it’s just as good of a job as LSU if not better.

Oh ok. I've not heard people say a program is as good as LSU. It's weird to hear some common sense on the board these days.

Some LSU fans believe the LSU job is the best in the nation and no school can outbid them. That group of LSU fans are dumb.

I've said all along that you don't hire a coach based on one good year. I suspect that Mel Tucker is sorry he procrastinated in signing that new lucrative, long-term contract with MSU.

Maybe, but I’d take a guy like Matt Campbell, Billy Napier, Lane Kiffin over Tucker.

Yeah it’s definitely a top 5 job, but I’d put Ohio State over LSU as a coaching destination every time.

That's fair. But, you have to realize Lane Kiffin while a great coach his Eddie Haskell antics aren't a fit everywhere.

Manyou are completely delusional. Really weird you want this guy as LSU’s next head coach knowing the other options we have.
Actually you are delusional. I have NEVER said I wanted him as the HC at LSU. I do not. I’m talking about him in this general discussion as a coach not as someone I would want at LSU.

I mean you are basically sucking him off, kind of implied you want him as the head coach.

Actually I’m not but sure whatever you say big tough guy. The ignorance & stupidity of how people read these days never ceases to amaze me.
