I'm not here to brag on BR by any means, but the irony of "Chancellor" chiming in on it being a shithole as an AL fan, when we just hired a chancellor from Tuscaloosa is not lost me.

What most people dont understand is the vast majority of large college towns are not vey nice. It takes a lot of land to build a college therefore they dont build them in nice areas

I remember an article of the most dangerous college cities in the country. Swore Gainesville was #1 and Tuscaloosa was 2.

Opposing view: kudos to Ole Miss to push back on this nonsense after 3 weeks and take a stance that, I think, is just trying to be fair and less distracting to their players down the home stretch.
But, I will say it is really difficult to make a decision as a big-time HC these days given the timing of early signing day, CFP schedule, portal window, etc.
