And fwiw, I find mauling and running over a defense at will and then throwing the ball over their head to be quite exciting.
i could handle a season of the cotton bowl offense.

not a big 10 OC. I know that much.

i wouldnt mind Kragthorpe or promoting Gonzales. But like SFP, it remains to be seen how much control Miles will give the new OC

People like Kunk would be all for running the ball 60 times a game if it is from a spread, but doing it out of the I is "boring".

Actually you don't even know what I would like because you don't know me. Thanks though

that Purdue offense was much more innovative than "run left, run right, play action downfield".

I prefer an offense that is "predictable" ...if that is what you want to call it.

Spread attacks are great but they are EXTREMELY volatile because of the kind of talent they require at QB.

If we run an offense that looks to establish the LOS with a dominant run game and then play action over the top then we will be running an offense that is:

- Proven over time
- Requires the kind of players we always have access to.

The UF offense worked great...when it had a Tebow. They were dang lucky he never got hurt badly.

The AU offense works great...when you have a Cam Newton. We had no issues with it last year. If Cam gets hurt this year they lose every game he doesn't play in.

I want an OC that gives us an IDENTITY that fits our current personell and is easy to find talent to develop for it. The pro-style offense is the way to do this.

not totally the conference, but Wisconsin is the last place i want to dip in and take an OC. They've been a pound it out team which seems like forever, and they consistently underachieve.

he' been their OC for 5 years, why are people calling for him now? Because he had 3 NFL caliber RB's and an OL with 3-4 more NFL prospects?

The Big 10 simply isn't the SEC. I question how his philosphies would adapt.

the last time they put out NFL caliber QB or WRs??

They ran 584 times to 276 in 2010

He would be perfect......if he just called the run plays and we got someone else to call the formations and pass plays!

Yes I know who Riley is. Are you saying he calls his own game?

Wisconsin put up some serious points at times this year, and was a much more efficient offense for the most part.

Why does an offense have to be "innovative" if it works? Chryst would be a great hire, but I haven't heard any rumors of him here beyond our wants on this board.

at that point in time, I would almost bet it.

it was his first years at Ore St. Do you think he let a young(37) 1st time offensive coordinator call the plays?

I dont know, I would think no. I dont know for sure.

they have Tolzien graduating this year who might be drafted and if he isn't he will at least go to camp somewhere.

Nick Toon, a WR, is rated pretty high for next years draft.

TE Lance Kendricks is one of the top TE's for the draft.

he's been there since 05 or 06 Adam. Their best pass catcher was a TE

scott tolzien sucks. He was the beneficiary of the best running game in America. You also though Jarrett Brown had an NFL future. Dont respond to my posts. Thanks
