Take it easy on them. They’re not used to having a coach good enough that other schools would actually want to hire him away from them.

Oh man, we are NOT getting Lane. At around the 45 second mark he says "you were there at kick-off and stayed". He was messaging LSU fans that he knows they don't stay around until the end of the game and he is not coming.

You’re not entirely wrong, but if what’s coming out since his firing is true, Kelly didn’t do himself any favors by checking out early and not being present and fully committed.
Had he committed and worked relentlessly like some of his predecessors, he wouldn’t have been terminated and may have even played for a natty at LSU.
