Can I just say that about half of this post is regurgitated from the first 3 days of the Arky search.... Saban... big contract... make him say no.... then Urban.... same.... Lane... we were close before... then Sumrall.

I think that's dream scenario for a lot of folks.

I think if Tigers are forward thinking they are looking younger and energetic.

Sumrall or Golesh or maybe Sheppard as a long shot.

I kind of think Lane is top of thier list but are they willing to wait him out if they make the playoff.

I'll metaphorically shoot you and do so in a brutal way.

Your source cannot be the custodian in the Athletic Department that heard the names Saban and Meyer in separate sentences at separate times. It does not count. If Admins decides to court a 74 yr old Saban ( who will say, no) then we should run Woodward and any booster out of the country.....not just the state.

Maybe Urban Meyer has the itch to coach again but I would pass......and would y'all stop with this shite of Lane Kiffin, it is not in the cards. If he makes Atlanta and a playoff spot no one is making him budge from Oxford.

Feels as if Kiffin would click better with the fanbase and bring excitement back the death valley.

Which part of the fanbase...

And that is my concern with Kiffin ... Kiffin and some parts of the fanbase playing off each other creating a feedback loop that runs out of control....

My source is more than just a custodian. He is also on the sidelines every home game. Woodward doesn't have the say so in the hire, he is pretty much in time out right now. The candidates are being chosen by current staff, alumni, and a few boosters that are willing to donate for the right one.

Wholeheartedly agree. I know folks want the big name but I truly feel a young up and comer full of hunger and energy is the play. The Kelly experiment should teach us the big name isn’t the Guarentee smash hit.
