a lot of people believe he came to LSU with that expectation.

After this season, he should be glad he still has a job. Our offense was a complete shite show all season while Ohio State just won a national title with their 3rd string QB.

Don't know why this is directed at me but ok. But if this happens you will be a TD legend.

Did anyone check the AFCA docket to see if Smart's name has "Alabama" written next to it?

Maybe that's why he hasn't texted you back?

You prevent the blindside by not letting your assts sign extensions prior to their coordinator.

I honestly think Alleva thought it would force Chavis' hand, but it back fired when he took the low road and left his assts hanging.

This will leave a mark on Alleva forever, more so than the Duke thing, IMO. Only a matter of time before VA takes over.

The more I think about it, this shite ain't happening. BOS have been burned w contract issues too many times. Alleva will be the fall guy, but no extravagant deals are getting done. They're not throwing money at these problems for the sake of Miles. Highest paid staff never got results, and with the present QB situation, just not happening.

And hard to disagree with their frustrations.

What will I do without 1-man receivers into the pattern on third-and-8?

IF Smart makes the jump its not a money issue

It better not be, because according to tooler here he's only getting a 3K raise to leave the program he's rumored to already be the HCIW for.

Seriously guys, what part of this makes sense, from any angle other than Kirby getting a bumb from Bama?

To be fair, we were doing that shite way before Cam.

if UGA is his dream job, than he likely knows he needs to step out of saban's shadow and show he can at least run his own D.

True. We used to run 4-man patterns 25 yds past the first down line.

So here's the deal... TIFWIW

Smart to DC $1.38m Contract language is over an out clause if the UGA spot opens up. Someone seems to think Richt could be out in the next 2-3 years. Kirby wants HCIW title in exchange for waving it.

Someone didnt do their research before starting this rumor

Smart makes 1.3 million now.

Saban is 2 years older than Miles, so Bama will open before LSU does. Why leave now? And Richt is 7 years younger than Miles, so that will probably be the last job of the 3 to open, and one that Smart will have multiple shots at (see Hoke and Harbaugh at UM)
