For that kind of money there should be no development. Plug in, win championship.

Hey Tony (the non-tiger) and Capstone, at a minimum we are now on a level playing field with Bama and/or anyone else.

Now, add in Lane Kiffin compared to your coach, I'll assume LSU is now in or will soon take the lead.

Wasn't it reported awhile back Lane had no intention keeping this guy around? What's he suppose to do?

Also, Bama isn't as poor as you think they are. They're just pooling money until Deboer is gone because he doesn't have confidence from their boosters. I don't blame them.

The evidence is in Saban’s “retirement”. He knew what was about to happen. And look - two straight 4 loss teams.

He was 72 years old at the time. It was very much a retirement. Did he need to coach to 90 to prove himself?

9-4 and 11-4 seasons are another story altogether.

I’m not sitting here saying Alabama has some billion dollar backer like Texas Tech, Oregon, or Indiana. But they are still highly competitive with NIL. That has been proven with continuing to sign top 5 classes. They have not needed to bring in heavy portal classes but they’ve still added quality pieces there as well.

LSU spent a ton on guys who couldn’t play last year. What are y’all gonna say after you spend 70 mill this year and win 9 games. For that kind of money there should be no development. Plug in, win championship.

Delane, Halsey, Goodwin and Cooley could all fricking play. Gee, what’s the commonality here? Maybe that they weren’t playing for the shittiest OC in the P4.

The guys we spent money on for offense never had a prayer. Sharp was a bust and Anderson was injured a good bit.

In other words, the way we spent money last year wasn’t the issue. Kelly and the entire offensive staff were shown the door for a fricking reason.

LSU had many holes to fill
Thanks for your concern but the decline in Tuscaloosa is real
