Stop crying that his record shouldn’t have got him fired.
In addition to his off the field bs which was his ultimate downfall, no proven coordinators wanted to work for him. He lost his credibility in the small world of coaching. The only guys willing to take the job were unproven. He was toxic.

A coach that had the greatest season ever then broke even in covid year (after losing huge #s to the NFL) and 2 months later he gets played by a coach who he offered obscene record smashing $ to. And he us now scrambling?

You can bitch about Woodward all you want but the fact of the matter is no other AD would do any better at LSU as far as reeling in the big fish.
For some odd reason big name coaches are turned off by LSU and wants no part of this program. When you turn down that much money then that really says something.

Well played, but you can check my post history — I wasn’t saying anything about Riley to LSU yesterday. Quite the opposite.
LR is a great coach, though. He’ll win a lot at OU and he’d win a lot at LSU.
