Cmon now. All these insiders said weeks ago he was the guy. You heard him tell you what Pete Carol and Nick Saban told him about this job. You heard him passionately say how different he viewed this place.
The last thing he’s gonna do in this situation is geek out and disparage the previous place he came from.
Instead, he’s got to speak highly of it, be thankful, appear torn emotionally, etc. he does this for 1 primary reason and that’s because once it’s legal to do so, he is going to absolutely gut their fricking roster and leave the carcass by the curb.

Did you want him to rip off his shirt in excitement? I thought it was a great press conference, and more revealing in terms of the process and his personal feelings than most coaches.

He was being very classy to his former team and taking the high road, he could have sh1t all over them but he was very professional

Brother whatever the hell you were listening to surely wasn’t the same thing we were. Because I didn’t get that vibe at all. Did you actually listen to the whole thing? Did you miss the part where he was gushing over the football ops building with all the trophies and then what he was saying about tiger stadium and so happy he is on our sideline now? That sounded like he didn’t genuinely want this job to you?

1) The dude works at LSU; enough with the loyalty hullabaloo.
2) If he stays long enough to get us a natty or two, and then splits, ok. If he does that and stays, even better.
3) He’s a football coach. Anyone watching noticed that he became more comfortable when asked about football.
