If this is coming from your boss how would you take it?

Here’s my update as of now:
Right now at this second, there is Nothing signed. This is not a done deal.

Moving a little off the topic, it seems like more people are catching up to the Kenny Dillingham smoke I’ve been saying. He’s been heavily discussed with higher ups outside of Kiffin for awhile since at least late October when this whole process started
This would be a good move.

Maybe.
But I can guarantee you that if there is some type of date hes been given that he isn't gonna talk about it publicly. He's going to play it cool and answer all questions as vaguely as possible.

I think it's important for LK to understand he's putting OM in a bad spot in their quest to hire his replacement the longer he waits to decide.
It's also important that Ole Miss leadership communicates to its fans (through the media) they aren't a doormat and not being proactive.

2019 Red Zone or 2025 Red Zone?

Right now at this second, there is Nothing signed. This is not a done deal. People telling you otherwise are simply pushing the button too quick. In that post I said we are in the red zone. We still remain in that situation. The longer this plays out the better for LSU. Ole Miss knows this and that is why they keep pushing this ultimatum.
People are downvoting you, but this is exactly what I've heard.

I think ultimatum is the wrong word, but I do think there's been some pressure applied by the Ole Miss side.
Now I do believe that. But I also believe there was someone to intentionally leak that info to the media. For what reason who knows.
To be honest, he could've put all this by signing his extension or by just telling their fans that he wants to stay. By him not saying it tells me that maybe he isn't sure himself and doesn't want to lie and put something out there he can't take back. He does like to troll and a lot of his antics can rub people the wrong way. It's just I can understand if some of the fans are pissed at it. But then I also understand that it's his and his family's decision to make. And whatever happens, it is what it is.

If not Lane, I can get on board with Dilly.

But hey, can someone tell that Brenden fahoka cat that we aren’t signing kelvin shepherd?!?! Lmao. That dude is a twat if I’ve ever seen.

You keep saying this.
You are aware that a lot of things can happen in the red zone, right? Sure, you can score a TD all right. But you can also fumble, throw an int, lose the ball on downs or kick a FG (settle for a mediocre candidate).
This isn’t the comforting analogy you think it is.

Lane said it himself.
What is more believable:
The professional, usually very reliable reporters saying it, that have absolutely no benefit from doing so
or
Coaches, that constantly lie about this sort of thing, that greatly benefits from saying it
hmmm who to believe

Not exactly. We have MVB heading the offense now. We should be much better in the Red Zone.
