if Kirby was leaving for Alabama would you want him coaching the game against Tech???

So, Kirby in this scenario, Kirby is leaving the school where not only he played but his wife played as well (basketball)?

The only way that happens is if things have gone completely sour, and that wouldn't be the case if a win put us in the playoffs.

But I'll play, I'd be just fine with him coaching the game.

The Dandy Don info is contrary to reality and probably just a reach to stir the pot. What I stated is the situation and while I guess things could change it’s just not going to happen.

so don’t be surprised if they have a “For Cause” reason figured out before Thanksgiving
Why would they need to makeup a reason to fire him with cause? He’d be leaving for a higher paying job, so Ole Miss wouldn’t have to pay him anything anyway even if they “fire” him before he officially resigns

But I just heard from Dandy Don and others he might not be coming to LSU, lol. So which is it? Is he going or staying at Ole Miss?

DandyDon scenario is the default option until proven otherwise.

Dandy don is the most mild, pro-LSU site out there. He never does anything to stir the pot

They are very upset because they know he has them by the balls, however Kiffin is very aware of his past and being painted as an ahole. He is very much trying to avoid looking like the bad guy but he knows LSU is the sleeping giant where he could go on a Sabanesque type run the next ten years!

Good point, but wouldn't that give LSU the opportunity to pay him minimum salary and put the rest to NIL until Kiffin's buyout from OM was done?

I think UM big boosters and even elected officials giving him ultimatums hurt more than helped his chances of staying.

Ok but he never stirs the pot. So why would he post something to be provocative? He is the anti- AYS

Y’all don’t understand spite or the practice of being spiteful… which is weird because we are currently practicing it regarding BK’s buyout… sometimes you just wanna let the FU be known

No, would violate the mitigation clause requirement to seek a fair market value salary

Yes they would. He doesn't have an offset clause. They would owe the buyout regardless of his salary at another job.
